Door de mogelijkheden van 3D-printtechnologie te benutten, kunnen wij producten ontwikkelen met verbeterde prestaties en een laag gewicht. De grote ontwerpvrijheid en de mogelijkheid om complexe interne structuren te cre\u00ebren, maken het mogelijk om materiaal optimaal te verdelen en zo het gewicht te minimaliseren. Ons onderzoek richt zich op de vroege ontwikkelingsfase (laag TRL) &nbsp;of heeft als doel bestaande systemen te verbeteren. De primaire focus ligt op het cre\u00ebren van een omgeving die automatische productie van geavanceerde composietstructuren mogelijk maakt, met een sterke nadruk op het ondersteunen van de composietindustrie en bedrijven die nog geen ervaring hebben met deze materialen.
