Als kennisorganisatie voor toegepast onderzoek en hebben we een centrale positie in het valorisatieproces om kennis om te zetten in waarde. Daarbij is onze doelstelling dat het resultaat van ons onderzoek zijn weg vindt naar toepassingen in de maatschappij en economie om impact te maken. Dit maken we mogelijk door duurzaam te ondernemen, door kennis over schone oplossingen en veiligheid in en vanuit de lucht en de ruimte te ontwikkelen en deze toegankelijk te maken voor de lucht- en ruimtevaartsector. Samen met de Nederlandse luchtvaartindustrie leveren we zo een betekenisvolle bijdrage aan het behoud van een welvarende maatschappij en dragen we bij aan een schone, veilige en betere wereld van de toekomst.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NLR strategische thema\u2019s 2026-2029<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">NLR kent drie strategische thema\u2019s waar we onze impact op de lange termijn willen laten gelden: Duurzame lucht- en ruimtevaart, Concurrerend vermogen van de lucht- en ruimtevaart, en Lucht- en ruimtevaart voor een veilige en weerbare samenleving. Daarbij stellen we onszelf concrete, ambitieuze doelen voor de komende periode. De NLR strategische programma\u2019s zijn multidisciplinaire en divisie-overstijgende programma\u2019s, die samen met onze kennisbasis, bijdragen aan het realiseren van de doelstellingen van de drie thema\u2019s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De thema&#8217;s zijn nauw met elkaar verbonden. Sterker nog: ze zijn niet los van elkaar te zien. Vanwege de veranderende geopolitieke situatie en de toegenomen onderlinge verwevenheid van de thema\u2019s, richten we ons in deze strategieperiode nadrukkelijk op de raakvlakken tussen de thema\u2019s, met een sterker accent op een veilige en weerbare samenleving en versterking van het concurrerend vermogen van de lucht- en ruimtevaart.
