class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duurzame lucht- en ruimtevaart<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>Europa is een voortrekker op het gebied van duurzaamheid, met doelstellingen, regelgeving en technologische ontwikkelingen die een duurzaam mobiliteitssysteem bevorderen, waarbij lucht- en ruimtevaart een integraal onderdeel zijn. Dit biedt kansen voor de Nederlandse lucht- en ruimtevaartsector om nieuwe, groene technologie\u00ebn te ontwikkelen en duurzame oplossingen te exporteren. De waardeketen van de sector is cruciaal voor de strategische autonomie van Europa op het gebied van mobiliteitstechnologie\u00ebn en draagt bij aan geavanceerde technologie\u00ebn met spin-off naar andere sectoren.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Luchtvaart is een belangrijk onderdeel in het mobiliteitssysteem van Nederland en Europa. In de toekomst moet voor elke verbinding of reis de afweging gemaakt worden wat de meest duurzame combinatie van modaliteiten is. Juist met ontwikkelingen die plaatsvinden in het kader van duurzaamheid, zoals kleinere, elektrisch en waterstof aangedreven toestellen, kunnen nieuwe mobiliteitsnetwerken ontstaan en kan Europa concurreren op het gebied van (technologie\u00ebn voor) \u2018groen\u2019 vervoer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voor NLR betekent dit dat er een sterke verbinding moet worden gemaakt met andere hightechsectoren op het gebied van duurzaamheid. Bovendien kunnen groene technologie\u00ebn in het civiele domein mogelijkheden bieden om de autonomie en het voortzettingsvermogen van Defensie te verhogen, waardoor ze dual use kunnen worden ingezet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-secondary-10-background-color has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-dee81359 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"padding-top:3.5rem;padding-right:3.5rem;padding-bottom:3.5rem;padding-left:3.5rem\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Henk van Dijk<\/strong>, Vice President Aerospace Operations divisie<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cEuropa streeft naar een klimaatneutrale samenleving tegen 2050. De luchtvaartsector heeft zich gecommitteerd om hieraan bij te dragen. Dat betekent dat er een noodzaak is voor radicale innovaties zoals het drastisch verminderen van CO<sub>2<\/sub>-uitstoot, ontwikkelen van schonere brandstoffen en het verbeteren van vliegtuigeffici\u00ebntie. Door luchtvaart met andere modaliteiten te verbinden, kunnen we komen tot een volledig duurzaam mobiliteitssysteem. Op die manier dragen innovaties voor de verduurzaming tegelijkertijd bij aan het verdienvermogen.
