De simulator is door NLR ontworpen en gebouwd en biedt ruimte voor twee bemanningsleden. Het HPS is ontwikkeld met speciale aandacht voor vliegeigenschappen en <em>humane factor<\/em>-onderzoek. Waterstof\u2011elektrische aandrijving is een veelbelovende optie, maar vereist uitgebreide tests om veiligheid, prestaties en robuustheid te garanderen.
