class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>In de wereld van vandaag speelt de luchtvaart een belangrijke rol in het verplaatsen van goederen en verbinden van mensen over de hele wereld. Tegelijkertijd zorgt luchtvaart voor geluidsoverlast en draagt de uitstoot van broeikasgassen bij aan de opwarming van de aarde. Door het eigen succes is de sector verder van de maatschappij af komen te staan en zijn de effecten hiervan merkbaar.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Het programma Impact op mens en maatschappij (IMM) staat voor de vraag hoe we deze kloof kunnen dichten zodat luchtvaart weer past bij waar de maatschappij om vraagt. In dit programma ondersteunt NLR mensen en organisaties met een verstandige inzet van luchtvaart en oplossingen die bijdragen aan de acceptatie van (huidige en) nieuwe technologische ontwikkelingen. Dit doen we met feitelijke informatie en nieuwe inzichten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-secondary-10-background-color has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-dee81359 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"padding-top:3.5rem;padding-right:3.5rem;padding-bottom:3.5rem;padding-left:3.5rem\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading alignwide\"><em>\u201c<\/em> Vliegen als groot goed of het grote kwaad<em>\u201d<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong>Programmaleider Rui Roosien over Impact op mens en maatschappij<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om inzicht te krijgen in de impact van de luchtvaart, onderzoeken we nieuwe manieren om geluidsoverlast van vliegtuigen te meten en te berekenen, om de invloed van routes op overlast aan te geven en om maatregelen ter vermindering van overlast in kaart te brengen, en de maatschappelijke acceptatie van drones en innovatieve luchtmobiliteit (IAM) op nationaal en internationaal niveau. Dit gebeurt door onderzoek te doen naar simulatiemodellen voor het luchtvaartsysteem en de effecten van innovatie op emissies, geluid en kosten. Daarnaast wordt een onderzoeksinfrastructuur opgebouwd met bestaande en nieuwe modellen. Binnen DRONABLE analyseren we de logistieke behoeften voor het gebruik van DELS in stedelijke gebieden, waarbij we rekening houden met regelgevende, milieutechnische en maatschappelijke grenzen. Met behulp van simulaties en pilot trials ontwikkelen we roadmaps die logistieke operators, overheidsinstanties, beleidsmakers en OEMs ondersteunen bij de implementatie van DELS. Binnen deze whitepaper brengen we de belangrijkste vraagstukken samen en doen we, waar mogelijk, kennis- en feitengedreven aanbevelingen over veelbelovende denkrichtingen.
