class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>NLR wil de Nederlandse luchtvaartindustrie in staat stellen om in de periode 2025- 2050 een concurrerend aandeel te hebben in de ontwikkeling en productie van de volgende generatie emissiearme vliegtuigen, in UAM supply chains, in programma\u2019s voor de volgende generatie helikopters, en in nieuwe vliegende concepten. We hebben een structureel ontwerp gemaakt van de binnen- en buitentank, en hebben analyses uitgevoerd om de boil-off, veiligheidsaspecten, sensing en waterstofstroom te bepalen. Bovendien zijn we begonnen met het conceptontwerp van de testopstellingen en de integratie van de binnen- en buitentank, die bij NLR zal plaatsvinden. Ons doel is om een veilige en effici\u00ebnte waterstoftank te ontwikkelen die de toekomst van de duurzame luchtvaart mogelijk maakt. Thermoplastische composietmaterialen bieden goede prestaties, lage gewicht en effici\u00ebnte productiemethoden, en zijn bovendien recyclebaar. Door doorbraken in onderzoek en ontwikkeling kunnen we deze materialen nog effici\u00ebnter produceren, met slimme gereedschappen en ge\u00efntegreerde productieprocessen. Ons doel is om thermoplastische composietproducten te ontwikkelen die 10-15% lichter en 20-30% goedkoper zijn dan bestaande producten. Bovendien ontwikkelen we technieken om functionele coatings en microstructuren aan te brengen, die de luchtweerstand verlagen en brandstofbesparing van 2-5% opleveren. We ontwerpen, assembleren en testen een reeks 500 kW modulaire aandrijflijnen met cryo-enabled thermisch beheer. De grondtestcampagne zal ons helpen om de optimale systeemarchitectuur te bepalen, storingsmitigaties te valideren en aan te tonen dat het systeem aan complexe bedrijfsvereisten kan voldoen.
