has-guge-font-size\">Luchtverkeersleiding en Luchthavenoperatie<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>De manier waarop wij omgaan met vliegen en vliegtuigen gaat veranderen en daarmee de indeling en het gebruik van ons luchtruim en onze luchthavens. Omdat Nederland maar klein is en de gebruikers veel verschillende wensen hebben, brengt dat grote uitdagingen met zich mee. Het doel is om te komen tot een toekomstbestendig, meer planmatig luchtverkeerssysteem. Dit moet leiden tot voorspelbare, stabiele, meer milieuvriendelijke en effici\u00ebntere luchtverkeersstromen. We zoeken daarbij naar een nieuwe balans tussen civiele en militaire operaties. Daarnaast is er ruimte nodig voor nieuwe gebruikers zoals drones en \u2013 in de toekomst \u2013 Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) en elektrische vliegtuigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De urgentie om het luchtruim ingrijpend te vernieuwen is niet alleen in Nederland actueel. Veel van de uitdagingen die in Nederland spelen gelden immers ook voor het gehele Europese luchtruim. Daarnaast worden veel ontwikkelingen in het ATM en het luchthavendomein Europa-breed aangepakt. Een deel van de kennisopbouw vindt daarom plaats in Europees verband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-secondary-10-background-color has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-305db4b7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"padding-right:1.5rem;padding-left:1.5rem\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hoofdlijnen van het onderzoek<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer wp-container-content-b0b89ccb\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Luchtverkeersmanagement en vliegvelden<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We analyseren en verbeteren de werkwijzen, procedures en tools die luchtverkeersleiders dagelijks gebruiken. Verder onderzoeken we welke effecten nieuwe technologie\u00ebn, veranderende regelgeving en verkeersvolumes hebben op zowel luchtverkeersleiders als vliegvelden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Een belangrijk onderdeel van onze expertise ligt op het terrein van het ontwerpen en analyseren van vliegprocedures. Daarbij richten we ons op het minimaliseren van geluidsoverlast, het reduceren van emissies en\/of het verbeteren van operationele effici\u00ebntie. Op basis van diepgaande analyses ontwerpen we effici\u00ebntere vliegroutes, waarbij we de balans zoeken tussen impact op het milieu, operationele prestaties en veiligheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer wp-container-content-b0b89ccb\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Onbemande operaties<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We formuleren technische en operationele eisen die nodig zijn om drones veilig en effici\u00ebnt te kunnen laten opereren. Een belangrijk aandachtspunt daarbij is de interactie tussen drones en de bemande luchtvaart. Daarnaast adviseren we beleidsmakers over regelgeving en richtlijnen die de groei van dronegebruik mogelijk maken, zonder dat daarbij de veiligheid en effici\u00ebntie van het luchtruim in gevaar komen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer wp-container-content-62aae154\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enkele projecten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-black-50-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-black-50-background-color has-background\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-content-justification-left is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-12dd3699 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-center\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 40%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deelname ICAO ATMRPP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Het concept FF-ICE\/R1 (Flight and Flow Information for a Collaborative Environment) is gefinaliseerd met als doel om via verbeterde automatisering en verbeterde uitwisseling van informatie een significant hogere effici\u00ebntie van de commerci\u00eble luchtvaart te bereiken. NLR heeft een review door Nederlandse stakeholders van het concept FF-ICE\/R1 aan ATMRPP gerapporteerd. Deze elementen worden samengevat en besproken om zo een compleet beeld te schetsen. Er zijn belangrijke stappen gezet zoals metingen aan een bekend ILS-systeem op Luchthaven Deelen met behulp van drones. Verder zijn er testvluchten uitgevoerd bij het NLR Drone Centre in Marknesse om praktische ILS-meetprocedures te ontwikkelen voor DFI-systeemontwikkeling. Ook is er gewerkt aan het verbeteren van de functionaliteit van de Drone Flight Inspectie Software om deze operationeel te maken.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img
