Een aantal hiervan is openbaar. De NLR Reports Repository bevat openbare rapporten, zogenaamde Technische Publicaties (TP). Deze dateren van 1996 tot heden. Andere soorten NLR-rapporten zijn Contract Rapporten (CR) en Technische Rapporten (TR). Deze zijn in het algemeen niet openbaar. U kunt hiervoor een aanvraag indienen. Dit kader maakt het mogelijk om het fundamentele verschil aan te tonen tussen emissies tijdens de vlucht en een meer uitgebreide beoordeling van de milieueffecten van vliegen. Het doel van het rapport is om een visie te presenteren voor een duurzame en concurrerende luchtvaartsector in 2050. Dit onderzoek optimaliseert het ontwerp van een batterij-aangedreven ATR 42-600, en laat een innovatief ontwerp zien dat potentie heeft om gewicht en milieubelasting te verminderen. De veranderingen in de indeling van het luchtruim hebben invloed op de manier waarop vliegtuigen in de toekomst over Nederland vliegen en hoe ze naar en van Nederlandse vliegvelden vliegen. De grote schaal mogelijkheden van LSAM bieden nieuwe kansen en zijn superieur aan andere additieve productiemethoden. NLR doet onderzoek naar LSAM in de luchtvaartsector om complexe uitdagingen aan te pakken en hoogwaardige resultaten te behalen.
