De uitgebreide capaciteiten en expertise op het gebied van luchtwaardigheidscertificering worden bij het NLR aangevuld met een ultramoderne onderzoeksinfrastructuur voor het testen van de prestaties en luchtwaardigheid van lucht- en ruimtevaartsystemen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In de EMC testfaciliteit wordt lucht- en ruimtevaart elektronica (avionica) beoordeeld op elektromagnetische compatibiliteit (EMC). Dat betekent dat de betreffende avionica geen elektromagnetische storing mag veroorzaken op andere systemen en tegelijkertijd ook in voldoende mate immuun moet zijn tegen Elektromagnetische Interferentie (EMI) vanuit de omgeving. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De EMC faciliteit voert elektromagnetische emissiemetingen en immuniteitstesten uit op diverse elektronische systemen. Deze EMC-testen worden meestal uitgevoerd in de (semi-) reflectievrije ruimte ofwel Semi-Anecho\u00efc Chamber (SAR). De SAR is uitgerust met radiofrequentie-energieabsorbers, hoogwaardige filters voor netstroom, watertoevoer en een uitlaatgasafzuigsysteem.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Onderzoeksfaciliteit voor bijvoorbeeld verificatie van onderzoeksprojecten:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-with-arrow\">\n<li>Modelleren, simuleren en analyseren van de EMC-karakteristieken van kabels (overspraak en overdrachtsimpedantie);&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyse van mogelijke elektromagnetische interferentie op vliegtuigen en luchthavens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>EMC-testen kunnen ook uitgevoerd worden op het helikopterplatform annex Open Area Test Site (OATS) op het NLR-terrein of op locatie van de klant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De EMC-faciliteit van NLR is opgenomen in het register van de Raad voor Accreditatie (RvA) voor het uitvoeren van EMC-testen volgens ISO-17025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-default has-black-5-background-color has-background is-layout-constrained
