De primaire focus ligt op het cre\u00ebren van een omgeving die automatische productie van geavanceerde composietstructuren mogelijk maakt, met een sterke nadruk op het ondersteunen van de composietindustrie en bedrijven die nog geen ervaring hebben met deze materialen. Door de collectieve onderzoekscapaciteiten van onderzoekscentra, universiteiten en gespecialiseerde bedrijven (groot en klein) samen te brengen, cre\u00ebert de faciliteit een uniek ecosysteem dat samenwerking, innovatie en kennisdeling mogelijk maakt.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De faciliteit ondersteunt bedrijven bij de ontwikkeling van lichtgewicht systemen gemaakt van composietmaterialen en\/of metaal. NLR biedt hulp bij vrijwel alle fases van de productontwikkeling: van conceptstudies en materiaalscreening tot het maken van detailontwerpen en het cre\u00ebren van concepten. In het centrum worden ook reparaties en full-scale prototyping uitgevoerd. Gebruikers kunnen een training krijgen om zelf de apparatuur te bedienen of een NLR-operator inhuren als dat nodig is.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"align wp-block-sowmedia-documents\">\n\n<div
