Het onderzoek wordt uitgevoerd tijdens de vroege ontwikkelingsfase (lage TRL) of ter verbetering van bestaande systemen. De FDF is een gesloten-circuit-windtunnel voor het testen geluid in turbine simulatie bij stromingsafmetingen en snelheden Stroompwaarts en -afwaartst van de testsectie zijn nagalmkamer gepositioneerd voor het betrouwbaar meten van de geluidssterkte.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De <em>Flow Duct Facility<\/em> (FDF) is geschikt voor het meten van geluidsabsorptie (bijvoorbeeld <em>liners<\/em>), insertieverlies en kleinschalige hoge snelheden aerodynamische metingen.\u00a0 Voor deze faciliteit zijn geavanceerde meetmethoden voor het bepalen van eigenschappen van geluidsabsoberende materialen ontwikkeld, zoals metingen van de akoestische impedantie en metingen voor het bepalen van de geluidsabsorptie van liners te meten. Daarnaast brengen we kwalitatieve en kwantitatieve complexe luchtstromen in kaart met verschillende stromingsmeettechnieken zoals deeltjes visualisatie (PIV), snelheidsmetigen met gescande pitotbuizen en hotwire-metingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De NLR-FDF wordt ingezet om vliegtuigfabrikanten en hun toeleveranciers te bedienen. Ook exploitanten van windtunnels en middelgrote en kleine ondernemingen kunnen gebruik maken van deze faciliteit. Onderzoekstrajecten in deze faciliteit richten zich op dynamische interactie van geluid en (liner)materialen, en luchtweerstandmetingen van verschillende substraten en geluidsabsorberende frequentiebereik van 200 tot 6000 Hz.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verschillende soorten microfoons en drukmeetsystemen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verschillende dynamische acquisitiesystemen (tot 200 kHz) &nbsp;voor akoestische of andere instabiele metingen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lasers en hogesnelheidscamera&#8217;s voor &nbsp;stromingsvisualisatietechnieken<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grenslaag <em>probes<\/em> voor het meten van grenslagen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PIV apparatuur voor het visualiseren van aerodynamische en aero-akoestische stromingsverschijnselen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group
