In de vluchtproef is de interval management-capaciteit op vaste routes met continue daaloperatie succesvol gedemonstreerd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Op lagere hoogtes kan de ecologische voetafdruk worden verkleind door gebruik te maken van vaste routes voor vertrekken en aankomsten, gecombineerd met continue klimmen en continue dalen langs die routes. Echter, met een hoge verkeersvraag moeten additionele buffers voor inter-vliegtuigafstand in overweging worden genomen. Het behouden van de vereiste piekuurcapaciteit wordt dan een bottleneck.
