{"id":1706,"date":"2023-06-05T11:58:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-05T09:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nlr.org\/atm-u-space-interface-aura\/"},"modified":"2025-01-28T14:36:06","modified_gmt":"2025-01-28T13:36:06","slug":"atm-u-space-interface-aura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nlr.org\/nl\/newsroom\/case\/atm-u-space-interface-aura\/","title":{"rendered":"ATM U-space interface (AURA)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><strong>Het AURA (ATM U-space InteRfAce)-project (SESAR 2020-project PJ34) onderzocht de ontwikkeling van concepten en technologie\u00ebn die nodig zijn om bestaande ATM-systemen en toekomstige U-space-operaties op een veilige, voorspelbare en naadloze manier te laten samenwerken. Een van de fundamentele uitgangspunten van het project is dat bemande en onbemande bewegingen plaatsvinden in het gedeelde luchtruim (ATM U-space Shared Airspace &#8211; AUSA). De controle over het AUSA kan worden gedelegeerd aan ATM- of U-space. Het U-space-verkeer wordt vervolgens gescheiden door geo-cages rond het U-space-gedeelte van AUSA. Noodsituaties moesten worden beperkt door extra AUSA-volumes te delegeren aan U-space.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De uitdaging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Het hoofddoel van het project was het ontwikkelen en valideren van interfaces die de ATM-systemen koppelen aan U-space-diensten. Verder moest er een operationeel concept worden ontwikkeld voor een combinatie van bemande en onbemande vluchten binnen het gecontroleerde luchtruim. NLR leverde een bijdrage aan AURA door conceptuele elementen voor nood- en contingentieoperaties in de U-space aan te pakken die van invloed zijn op ATC-operaties, d.w.z. scenario&#8217;s waarin een storing van een drone of missie-opdrachten uiteindelijk zou kunnen leiden tot conflicten met bemande vliegtuigen, met name in de buurt van luchthavens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#eff5fb\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De oplossing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Het project bestond uit twee oplossingen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>een technische oplossing die de vereiste diensten implementeert binnen een gemeenschappelijke ATM- en U-space-interface (CISP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>een operationele oplossing die de operationele omgeving en de processen voor Dynamic Airspace Re-configuration (DAR) beschrijft. Met DAR werd de controle van het AUSA gedelegeerd aan U-space of ATM. NLR heeft de rol van een DAR-manager ge\u00efntroduceerd. Deze moet prototype-interfaces gebruiken om nood- en luchtruimwijzigingen tot stand te brengen met U-space- en ATM-actoren en deze te implementeren in overeenstemming met de vastgelegde DAR-processen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat doen wij?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-f0342b05 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Koninklijke NLR voerde realtime <em>human-in-the-loop-<\/em>simulaties uit op het NARSIM-validatieplatform met een verbinding naar het externe pilotstation U-FLY van DLR, dat dronemissies uitvoerde en positie-informatie verstrekte. De operationele en technische vereisten van AURA werden vertaald naar typische dronemissiescenario&#8217;s om aan te tonen dat DAR-processen haalbaar zijn.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:10px\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Aan het ATC-team voor Rotterdam (EHRD) werd de DAR-manager toegevoegd, die fungeerde als intermediair tussen U-space en ATM. Er moesten interfaces worden gebouwd waarmee de DAR-manager en de luchtverkeersleiders wijzigingen in het luchtruim tot stand konden brengen en konden doorvoeren, in overeenstemming met de DAR-processen.
