Voordat UAM-vluchten echter op grote schaal kunnen plaatsvinden, moeten er eerst enkele uitdagingen worden aangepakt, waaronder de integratie van het luchtruim. Omdat we beseffen dat deze uitdaging moet worden aangepakt, zijn er wereldwijd verschillende initiatieven opgestart om de nieuwe Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM)-diensten te ontwikkelen die nodig zijn om UAM-vluchten te vergemakkelijken. In deze context heeft de Europese Commissie het Europese U-space UTM-systeem ge\u00efnitieerd. De ontwikkeling van U-space is verdeeld in vier afzonderlijke fasen, U1-U4 genaamd, waarbij de complexiteit van de resulterende werkzaamheden geleidelijk toeneemt.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De uitdaging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Het doel van het Metropolis 2-project was om de architectuur voor scheidingsmanagement te onderzoeken die nodig is om nauwmazige UAM- en drone-operaties in stedelijke gebieden te realiseren voor een toekomstig U-space U3\/U4-systeem. Het doel was om een architectuur te ontwikkelen die rekening houdt met interacties tussen de volgende aspecten: luchtruimontwerp, vluchtplanning, strategische deconflictatie en tactische deconflictatie tussen drones in het U-space-luchtruim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#eff5fb\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De oplossing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Er werden drie verschillende architecturen voor scheidingsmanagement getest: a) gecentraliseerd op de grond, b) gedecentraliseerd in de lucht en c) hybride. De concepten werden getest met behulp van fast-time simulaties voor een groot aantal verschillende verkeersvolumes voor de stad Wenen. Hierbij waren er gedurende een uur zo&#8217;n 5000 drones boven Wenen te zien. De simulaties werden uitgevoerd met behulp van de BlueSky fast-time simulator.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat doen wij?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-f0342b05 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>NLR leidde het projectteam dat het hybride concept ontwikkelde en simuleerde. De resultaten van de simulaties gaven aan dat de hybride architectuur de hoogste veiligheid en capaciteit leverde. Het wordt aanbevolen dat U-space-implementaties voor stedelijke gebieden een dergelijke hybride architectuur gebruiken, waarin zowel grondgebonden gecentraliseerde controle voor vluchtplanning als luchtgebonden tactische controle voor conflictbeheersing als gevolg van onzekerheden, zoals wind, opgenomen zijn.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:10px\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Het ontwerp van het luchtruim moet compatibel zijn met de acties van de onderliggende veiligheidslagen.
