Met een real-time ATC-simulator kunnen eisen voor nieuwe of gewijzigde procedures en systemen worden getest en gevalideerd, waardoor het risico tijdens de implementatie wordt geminimaliseerd en de voorspelbaarheid van de daadwerkelijke operationele prestaties wordt verhoogd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlr.org\/nl\/newsroom\/facility\/narsim-nl\/\">NARSIM-faciliteit<\/a> van NLR is is een real-time, <em>human-in-the-loop<\/em> (HITL) <em>Air Traffic Control <\/em>(ATC)-simulator die in staat is om de volledige werkomgeving en werkomstandigheden van luchtverkeersleiders tot in detail te simuleren.\u00a0Hiermee kunnen luchtverkeersleiders getraind worden, nieuwe procedures en systemen worden getest en gevalideerd, en onderzoek worden uitgevoerd naar alle aspecten van luchtverkeersleiding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NARSIM is door NLR zelf ontwikkeld, waardoor het veel configuratiemogelijkheden biedt, en een hoge mate van flexibiliteit en interoperabiliteit mogelijk maakt. De simulator kan luchtverkeersleidingsystemen van alle grote fabrikanten simuleren, zelfs tegelijkertijd.
