Om de juiste en nauwkeurige werking van het systeem te controleren, worden er door NLR meetvluchten uitgevoerd. Die zijn gepland in de avonduren op 13, 15 en 20 mei.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luchtverkeersleiding Nederland (LVNL) heeft tijdens het onderhoud aan de Zwanenburgbaan het navigatiesysteem om vliegtuigen veilig op de Zwanenburgbaan te laten landen vernieuwd. Het gaat om het &#8216;Instrument Landing Systeem&#8217; (ILS) aan de noordzijde van de baan (36C). Dit systeem zorgt voor ondersteuning van vliegtuigen om via een optimale koers en vaste daalhoek geleidelijk te dalen naar de landingsbaan. Ook bij slechte zichtcondities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om de juiste en nauwkeurige werking van het nieuwe ILS te controleren, worden na afronding van het onderhoud metingen op de baan en meetvluchten uitgevoerd. Deze zijn nodig om het nieuwe ILS van de Zwanenburgbaan veilig in gebruik te kunnen nemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meetvluchten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tijdens de metingen, die op de baan en vanuit de lucht plaatsvinden, is de baan niet beschikbaar voor het vliegverkeer. De meetvluchten voor het nieuwe ILS 36C zijn gepland op zaterdag 13 mei van 22:00 tot 02:30 uur, maandag 15 mei van 22:00 tot 22:15 uur en op zaterdag 20 mei van 22:00 tot 01:40 uur. De vluchten vinden plaats op momenten dat het verkeersaanbod laag is, zodat de meest geluidpreferente start- en landingsbanen tijdens het meetvliegen zoveel mogelijk ingezet kunnen worden. Dit zorgt voor zo min mogelijk hinder voor mensen die in de omgeving wonen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als de geplande meetvluchten door omstandigheden, zoals slecht weer, niet op de geplande data kunnen plaatsvinden dan zijn 14, 16 en 21 mei gepland als reservedata. De meetvluchten worden uitgevoerd met een speciaal meetvliegtuig, de PH-LAB, dat vanaf verschillende hoogten, afstanden en richtingen meerdere naderingen vliegt richting de Zwanenburgbaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Het volledige bericht over de meetvluchten staat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvnl.nl\/nieuws\/nieuwsberichten\/meetvluchten-voor-vernieuwd-landingssysteem-zwanenburgbaan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hier<\/a> op de website van LVNL.
