Ter ere van hun jubilea organiseren zij op 14 maart 2019 het evenement \u2018100 jaar luchtvaart in Nederland\u2019 in het Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. Tijdens het evenement wordt stilgestaan bij de ontwikkeling van de internationale burgerluchtvaart en wordt nader ingegaan op de uitdagingen voor de luchtvaart in Nederland om slim, duurzaam en economisch verantwoord te kunnen blijven vliegen. KLM, GKN Fokker en NLR zijn verheugd te kunnen melden dat Zijne Majesteit de Koning aanwezig is bij het evenement.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Studenten challenge, munt en postzegel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Speciaal voor het jubileumjaar is er een studenten challenge uitgeschreven, waarbij studenten hun innovatieve, technische en sociale antwoorden op duurzaamheidsvraagstukken presenteren. De Koning spreekt tijdens zijn bezoek met de deelnemers van deze challenge. Minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat reikt een prijs uit voor het winnende idee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De Koninklijke Nederlandse Munt vervaardigde ter ere van honderd jaar Nederlandse luchtvaart een jubileummunt, die geldt als officieel betaalmiddel. De Koning slaat tijdens het evenement symbolisch het eerste exemplaar, in het bijzijn van staatssecretaris Menno Snel van Financi\u00ebn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ook wordt er een nieuwe postzegel onthuld, in het thema 100 jaar luchtvaart in Nederland. Deze wordt in ontvangst genomen door minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eye Filmmuseum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De viering van de jubilea gaat van start in het Eye Filmmuseum vanwege de historische relatie van de Nederlandse luchtvaart met Amsterdam Noord. In 1919 werd hier de Eerste Luchtverkeer Tentoonstelling Amsterdam (ELTA) georganiseerd. Kort daarna werd de KLM opgericht, waarvoor het eveneens in dat jaar opgerichte Fokker de toestellen vervaardigde. In 1919 werd ook de voorloper van de NLR, de Rijksstudiedienst voor de Luchtvaart (RSL), opgericht om de veiligheid van de militaire- en civiele luchtvaart te vergroten.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KLM, NLR \u2013 Nederlands Lucht- en Ruimtevaartcentrum \u2013 en GKN Fokker bestaan in 2019 alle drie honderd jaar.
