Windturbinebladen moeten periodiek ge\u00efnspecteerd worden. De inspectie en reparaties worden uitgevoerd door specialisten die via een kabel langs het blad afdalen. Dit werk is bijzonder arbeidsintensief en vormt op zee een nog grotere uitdaging. Het AIRTuB-consortium ontwikkelde systemen die op een drone zijn gemonteerd en die automatisch het windturbineblad kunnen inspecteren en indien nodig reparaties kunnen uitvoeren. Door regelmatige inspectie kunnen reparaties worden gepland in windstille periodes, waardoor productieverlies wordt voorkomen.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De uitdaging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vliegen op zee, dicht bij een windturbineblad op 100 meter hoogte met veel turbulentie, stelt hoge eisen aan een drone. Bij het inspecteren van de voorrand van het blad moet de drone zeer nauwkeurig een vliegroute volgen, binnen een straal van 2 meter van het blad. Tijdens de inspectie moet de drone op het windturbineblad landen en een crawler, een inspectievoertuig met sensoren, afzetten en oppikken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#eff5fb\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De oplossing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Binnen AIRTUB1 zijn een speciale drone, inspectiesensoren en een crawler ontwikkeld. De drone beschikt over een geavanceerde vluchtcontroller en een positioneringssysteem dat de positie en ori\u00ebntatie van de drone ten opzichte van het turbineblad bepaalt. Er is een drone gebouwd, waarin deze systemen worden ge\u00efntegreerd en die met de sensoren en de rups de inspectie veilig kan uitvoeren en in zo&#8217;n turbulente omgeving zeer nauwkeurig de geplande vliegroute kan volgen. In de eerste fase wordt de drone vanaf een schip bestuurd. Daarna wordt de drone op het windmolenpark geplaatst.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat doen wij?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-f0342b05 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>NLR heeft de drone gebouwd, 60 kg MTOM, die de inspectiesystemen kan vervoeren en de inspectie van de turbinebladen kan uitvoeren. De drone is geschikt voor de zware offshore-omgeving en is uitgerust met veiligheidssystemen. NLR ontwikkelde ook een sensor voor het inspecteren van de constructie. De drone heeft al gevlogen met de crawler en de voorrandinspectiesensor<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Daarnaast is er een speciaal onderstel ontwikkeld waarmee de drone op het gebogen (composiet) blad kan landen en zich aan het blad kan vastmaken.
