Een van de mogelijke oplossingen is het gebruik van een Cooperative Traffic Sensor die reageert op transpondersignalen. Een dergelijke sensor is nog niet beschikbaar in de kleine afmetingen die passen in onbemande vliegtuigen. Binnen het project Airborne Data Collection on Resilient System Architectures (ADACORSA) wordt een dergelijke sensor in samenwerking met de partners ontwikkeld en getest.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De uitdaging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De belangrijkste uitdagingen van het project zijn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>De afmetingen en de energiebehoefte van huidige DAA-systemen zijn ongeschikt voor kleine en middelgrote onbemande vliegtuigen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vanwege de frequentieverzadiging van de transponderfrequenties van bemande vliegtuigen kunnen drones niet worden uitgerust met ADS-B-transponders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bemande vliegtuigen met zowel Mode-S als ALD-B-transponders moeten gedetecteerd worden<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#eff5fb\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De oplossing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Miniaturisatie van het DAA-systeem dat geschikt is voor integratie aan boord van kleine en middelgrote onbemande vliegtuigen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verbetering van de sensorenset met een richtingszoeker om de azimut te meten, zodat de relatieve positie ten opzichte van indringers bekend is.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Informatie uit ADS-B (bemande indringer-vliegtuigen) zal worden gebruikt om de detectie van huidige luchtruimgebruikers verder te verbeteren.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat doen wij?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-f0342b05 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>NLR ontwikkelt een richtingzoeker (Direction Finder) voor de Cooperative Traffic Sensor (CTS) en integreert deze met een Mode-S interrogator, ontwikkeld door projectpartner Celestia Technology Group. Het DAA-systeem maakt gebruik van algoritmen die door NLR zijn ontwikkeld voor semi-automatisch ontwijken van andere vliegtuigen. Deze algoritmen maken gebruik van zowel Remain Well Clear (RWC) als Collision Avoidance (CA) functionaliteiten.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:10px\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>De RWC-functionaliteit berekent, rekening houdend met de luchtverkeersregels, een nieuwe route voor het onbemande vliegtuig. Berekeningen worden aan boord uitgevoerd, zodat het systeem onafhankelijk is van een dataverbinding en in de toekomst een volledig autonoom systeem mogelijk maakt. Het DAA-systeem wordt ge\u00efntegreerd en getest in het DAA Flying Testbed bij het NLR Drone Flight Test Centre.
