NLR-activiteiten omvatten de acceptatie van prepareren en kwalificeren van een testvliegtuig.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De uitdaging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Het doel is om een vliegtuig te ontwikkelen dat een nabootsing is van een echt vliegtuig op ware grootte en dat is uitgerust met zeer nauwkeurige vluchtinstrumentatie om tijdens de tests metingen uit te voeren. Dit zal een kosteneffectieve aanpak opleveren voor de ontwikkeling van radicaal nieuwe vliegtuigen, zoals nodig is voor een duurzamere luchtvaart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#eff5fb\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De oplossing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Het project heeft een Scaled Flight Demonstrator (SFD) ontwikkeld van een op schaal gemaakt referentievliegtuig (A320 op schaal 1:8,5) dat representatief is voor het vliegtuig op ware grootte bij Mach 0,4. Gegevens van SFD-vluchtproeven worden gemeten om aan te tonen dat vluchtproeven op schaal kunnen worden gebruikt voor het verkrijgen van vluchtmechanische eigenschappen die representatief zijn voor het vliegtuig op ware grootte.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat doen wij?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-f0342b05 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>De werkzaamheden omvatten het ontwerp, de productie en het testen van het avionica-subsysteem, het ontwerp, de productie, de assemblage en de integratie van het SFD-vliegtuigframe (vleugel en romp) (met Orange Aircraft), de integratie van Flight Test Instrumentation (ontwikkeld door NLR), de ontwikkeling van en integratie met het luchtverkeersleidingssysteem (met CIRA), de integratie en het testen van het SFD-systeem, windtunneltests bij DNW LLF (april 2021), de kwalificatie van een operationeel concept om een vliegvergunning te verkrijgen en de training van de bemanning. In november 2021 werden in Deelen, Nederland, hogesnelheidstaxitests uitgevoerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Er is een succesvol Flight Readiness Review uitgevoerd, waarbij Airbus een belangrijke rol speelde. In de eerste helft van 2022 zal, als onderdeel van een kwalificatiecampagne op Deelen, de eerste SFD-vlucht worden uitgevoerd. De missievluchtcampagne in Itali\u00eb staat gepland voor medio 2022.
