Aankomende satellietbouwers, zoals projectgroepen van universiteiten, moeten een uitgebreid inzicht ontwikkelen in de bouw van satellieten en bewustzijn over de omstandigheden in de ruimte. Daarom zijn satellietbedrijven zoals ISISPACE op zoek naar effectieve educatieve en trainingsoplossingen om het leerproces voor deze toekomstige professionals te verbeteren.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De uitdaging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De toenemende vraag naar kleine satellieten heeft geleid tot een groeiende behoefte aan vakmensen op het gebied van satellietsamenbouw en -integratie. Traditionele trainingsmethoden voor deze complexe processen zijn vaak tijdrovend, kostbaar en bieden slechts beperkte mogelijkheden om realistische scenario&#8217;s te simuleren. Hierdoor worden beginnende satellietbouwers geconfronteerd met grote uitdagingen bij het verwerven van de benodigde vaardigheden en kennis om in dit vakgebied succesvol te zijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het doel: cre\u00ebren van een (VR-)trainingstool waarmee klanten hun medewerkers effici\u00ebnt kunnen trainen in standaardprocedures voor het mechanisch monteren en integreren van satellieten in een <em>cleanroom<\/em>-omgeving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#eff5fb\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De oplossing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Virtual Reality<\/em> levert een deugdelijk en effici\u00ebnte oplossing voor het opleiden van ingenieurs in satellietbouw. Het biedt een immersieve en interactieve leerervaring waarmee realistische scenario&#8217;s gesimuleerd kunnen worden en een benadering die kosten verlaagt en kennisretentie verbetert. De projectpartners hebben een VR-training ontwikkeld die een uitgebreid overzicht geeft over het totale samenbouw- en integratieproces van een 1U-satelliet. Hiermee wordt een verantwoordelijke werkhouding en bewustzijn over ruimtegerelateerde kwesties bevorderd.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Onze aanpak<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-f0342b05 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: inherit; background-color: var(--wp--preset--color--white); font-weight: inherit;\">Het project leverde bevredigende resultaten op, aangezien de VR-tool succesvol werd ontwikkeld en door experts werd gevalideerd. De tool is beschikbaar voor selectie- en trainingsdoeleinden en maakt kennisoverdracht en vaardigheidsontwikkeling onder (aspirant-) professionals mogelijk. Met de VR-tool krijgen gebruikers een realistisch beeld van de werkzaamheden rond samenbouw en integratie <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: inherit; background-color: var(--wp--preset--color--white); font-weight: inherit;\">van satellieten, waardoor training en de werving van sollicitanten worden verbeterd.<\/span> NLR richtte zich op het analyseren van de trainingsbehoeften, het ontwerpen van het trainingsprogramma en het valideren van de effectiviteit.
