De MRO-sector heeft echter te maken met een tekort aan arbeidskrachten en met vervuiling. Hoe kunnen we de sector helpen met innovaties?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De uitdaging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vliegtuigonderhoudsorganisaties voeren geavanceerd onderhoud aan vliegtuigen uit. Onderhoudsactiviteiten zijn arbeidsintensief en vergen veel middelen. In dit onderzoek onderzoeken we of het mogelijk is om onderhoudsactiviteiten minder arbeidsintensief te maken en of het mogelijk is om het gebruik van vervuilende grondstoffen, zoals fossiele brandstoffen, te verminderen. Sommige inspecties zijn arbeidsintensief en schadelijk voor de werkomgeving; vooral saaie, vuile en gevaarlijke taken. Sommige trainingsactiviteiten, zoals motortests of ondersteuning op locatie zijn behoorlijk duur en veroorzaken ongewenste emissies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#eff5fb\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De oplossing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wij helpen u uw onderhoudsorganisatie effici\u00ebnter en duurzamer te maken met slimme onderhoudsinspectierobots en slimme trainingsapparaten. Zo minimaliseren we het verbruik van onderhoudsmiddelen, zoals arbeid en fossiele brandstoffen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Onze aanpak?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-f0342b05 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>NLR maakt deel uit van het BrightSky-consortium, samen met JetSupport, Air France KLM en anderen. Het consortium ontwikkelt oplossingen om de economie en duurzaamheid van vliegtuigonderhoud en -exploitatie te verbeteren. NLR is betrokken bij drie BrightSky-onderzoeksprojecten waarbij we (i) een robot ontwikkelen en kwalificeren om hogedruk-turbinebladen te inspecteren, wat een minder arbeidsintensieve manier van werken is, (ii) een motorsimulator ontwikkelen die <em>augmented reality<\/em> gebruikt om technici te trainen zonder fossiele brandstoffen te verbranden,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>en (iii) een <em>augmented reality<\/em>-applicatie ontwikkelen om toezicht te houden op onderhoud op afstand, zodat tijdrovende en brandstofslurpende reizen naar externe locaties worden vermeden.
