De uitdaging is om tot een oplossing te komen die de juiste balans biedt tussen afmetingen, veelzijdigheid, betrouwbaarheid, geschiktheid voor de ruimte (robuustheid) en kosteneffectiviteit. Een oplossing met voor de ruimte gekwalificeerde onderdelen is te duur en te omvangrijk. Bovendien biedt een oplossing op basis van kant-en-klare, commercieel verkrijgbare componenten niet de betrouwbaarheid en kwaliteitsgarantie die klanten eisen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#eff5fb\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De oplossing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De oplossing is om op kritische plekken stralingsbestendige onderdelen te gebruiken, gecombineerd met goed beschreven, kant-en-klare, commercieel verkrijgbare componenten. Er worden bewezen en effectieve processen uit de traditionele ruimtevaart toegepast om de kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid te waarborgen. De modulaire aanpak biedt veelzijdigheid door gebruik te maken van een generieke centrale verwerkingsmodule, een instrumentspecifieke module die de interfaces en hardwarefuncties voor de payload biedt en de platformspecifieke module die de interfaces voor het satellietplatform biedt, inclusief een barri\u00e8re tegen voortplanting van storingen naar andere satellietsystemen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-container-core-column-is-layout-8a368f38 wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat doen wij?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tijdens een eenjarig Nederlands nationaal ruimtevaartinnovatieprogramma (SBIR) wordt een proof-of-concept ontwikkeld en gedemonstreerd. NLR paste zijn ervaring op het gebied van zeer betrouwbare ruimtevaartelektronica en ruimtenormen toe, terwijl onze industri\u00eble partner Technolution Advance zijn effici\u00ebnte, hoogwaardige en veilige ontwikkelingsbenaderingen toepaste. Dit is een sterk samenwerkingsverband waarin de beste ervaringen (d.w.z. expertise uit traditionele ruimtevaartprocessen en agile hardware-ontwikkelingstechnieken) worden gecombineerd voor de ontwikkeling van een aantrekkelijk product.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-169580e93dde7f7490e2694ed734a4d1\">  &gt;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Het project omvat twee focusgebieden:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>een onderdeel voor technologische ontwikkeling, gericht op een geoptimaliseerde architectuur en selectie van belangrijke onderdelen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>een onderdeel voor het verfijnen van de businesscase met uitgebreid overleg met<br>mogelijke belanghebbenden, waaronder het ESA.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Naast het afgeronde project worden er diverse R&amp;D-activiteiten uitgevoerd op specifieke productdetails.
