NLR and Ecomat join forces

With the signing of a MoU, the German ECOMAT and NLR want to combine their scientific and business expertise with regard to lightweight constructions, hydrogen developments, materials research and virtual product development in the aircraft manufacturing industry.

Liquid hydrogen for aviation

For the first time, our dewar vessel in Marknesse is filled with liquid hydrogen. It will be used for various LH2 tests. Initially with our HYDRA-drone, and in 2025 with our Velis Electro Pipistrel Aircraft.
