Product data sheet: NLR High Stability Chiller (NLR-HSC-M1)

Application

The NLR High stability chiller is a circulation cooler intended for applications where an extremely stable thermal environment is required. The chiller can deliver up to 80 litres/minute of water with a temperature stability of ±0.0005°C. The water pressure variations and noise levels are very low. This makes the chillers
very suitable for applications where vibrations should be minimized, such as optical tables and lithography equipment.

Technology

The low water pressure variations and noise levels are realised by applying Peltier coolers instead of the more common compressor technology, and the use of a multistage water pump. The chiller can be remotely controlled via a browser on any PC connected to the same network as the chiller. Up to 27 external NTC temperature sensors can be connected to the system.

NLR Portfolio: Innovations for Military Capabilities

For over a century, Royal NLR has been a dedicated and knowledge-based innovator. Proud of our royal predicate, we act as a strategic partner for the entire Netherlands Defence organisation.
We focus on timely capability development to bolster national security. We build operational flexibility directly into defence systems through sustainable solutions, ranging from alternative energy to unmanned vehicles. When rapidly evolving threats emerge, our 'fast innovation lane' quickly adapts civil technology for immediate military use. This forward-thinking approach extends to mobility as well. We are shaping the future of transport by integrating aviation with other networks and pioneering smaller, electric and hydrogen-powered aircraft.
