Royal NLR has signed an MoU together with the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA) regarding collaboration in civil aviation.

January 2020 – To promote mutual development and cooperation between the Netherlands and South Korea, Royal NLR and KAIA together signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 14.
Both parties wish to explore possibilities to work together on Urban Air Mobility (UAM) traffic management systems and infrastructure, supporting qualification and certification, data-driven solutions (digitalisation), and aviation safety and efficiency.

Through this agreement, the two organisations strengthen their relations to tackle major challenges in future aviation. It is expected that domestic aviation companies and knowledge institutes of both countries eventually will benefit from this corporation.
