NLR 100 years
[NLR Hybrid Electric Plane]
Celebrating a century of knowledge and innovation in aerospace: Royal NLR
Dear {firstname} {lastname},
5 April 2019 marks the centenary of the Netherlands Aerospace Centre. Ever since its establishment in 1919, NLR has been an ambitious, knowledge-based organization with a deep-seated desire to keep
innovating. Our knowledge and expertise have made us one of the driving forces in the aerospace sector, both in our own country and abroad. Our staff is searching tirelessly for new technology and
have the courage to think outside the box, translating trends and developments into practical solutions. That drive is helping us to make the world of transport safer, greener, more efficient and more
effective.
IT IS THEREFORE WITH GREAT PRIDE THAT WE ANNOUNCE THAT AT OUR 100TH BIRTHDAY, HIS MAJESTY KING WILLEM-ALEXANDER OF THE NETHERLANDS HAS ACKNOWLEDGED NLR WITH THE ROYAL PREDICATE. WE ARE NOW ROYAL NLR.
This highly prestigious recognition would not have been possible without our partners. Together, we can help shape the fascinating world of tomorrow. The future looks highly demanding yet fascinating
and it will require even faster innovation and closer cooperation, with the right driving forces behind it. Royal NLR is devoting its knowledge and expertise to that future. We look forward to
continue meeting and working together with you in this special year and beyond.
On behalf of Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre and all of our staff,
Michel Peters
CEO

Innovation now
Why wait? The future is now. Innovative solutions that contribute to sustainable aerospace are needed now. Aircraft should be (more) electric and complex metal parts can already be printed 3D. Still,
especially in aerospace, proper research, testing, validation and certification is needed before innovations can and should be implemented. But we're getting there!
NLR opens new facility and announces new Living Lab Electric Flight
NLR has opened research installations and offices covering 18.000 m² in the town of Marknesse as its new research facility. Together with PwC, NLR unveiled at the opening ceremony the electric

UITNODIGING
UITNODIGING:NLR-Delft Hyperloop II
Exclusieve netwerkbijeenkomst: dinsdag 24 april 2018, NLR Marknesse
Beste relatie,
Collin Beers, Division Manager Aerospace Vehicles NLR
Programma: dinsdag 24 april
15:30 - 16:30
* Welkom
* Hyperloop Pod Competition
* Presentatie composieten structuurdelen Atlas 01
16:30 - 17:30
* Netwerkborrel
Locatie: NLR Marknesse (route)
Voorsterweg 31, 8316 PR Marknesse
RSVP: 16 APRIL
Hyperloop Pod Competition
